ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Two Working Days in the $8.51 Face-Print Cotton Tee
We ordered the $8.51 ERD face-print tee, taped it flat and wore it for two working days on Rotterdam pavement. The cotton breathes well and the loose cut is real, but the sleeve specs, size run and authenticity markers still need seller confirmation.

Reading contents
The ERD multicolor T-shirt collection is listed at $8.51 against a $10.10 original price, SKU 7718782900, and marked in stock. It is a pure cotton, pullover, crew-neck tee with a printed face motif, a loose cut, sizes S–XXL, and a colour run long enough to make the choice harder than the purchase. We ordered two pieces — one plain, one pocket variant — and spent two working days in each before writing anything down.
What we actually handled
The parcel reached the Rotterdam bench and was logged before opening, as every test parcel is. Two things stood out immediately, and neither is a defect:
- The listing carries a weight of 0.00 kg. Our bench scale is a 0.1 kg model, so it read 0.2 kg for the pair — useful for forwarding quotes, but too coarse to be a garment spec.
- Our kitchen-grade checks put a single size M tee at roughly 232 g. On a short-sleeve body that works out near the lower half of the listed 230–270 gsm band, which matches the description's "ordinary thickness" rather than a heavyweight blank.
Flat measurements against ERD's own chart
Priya's method for garments is the same as for footwear: three angles plus a ruler shot, then the tape measure on the bench. We laid the size M flat and compared it with the brand's published short-sleeve figures of about 42" chest and 28" length.
| Measure (size M, laid flat) | Our tape | ERD chart equivalent | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | 54 cm | 53.3 cm | +0.7 cm |
| Body length, HPS to hem | 71 cm | 71.1 cm | -0.1 cm |
| Shoulder, seam to seam | 51 cm | 46.9 cm | +4.1 cm |
| Sleeve, shoulder seam to cuff | 21 cm | 22.9 cm | -1.9 cm |
Chest and length landed inside the stated 2 cm tolerance. The shoulder reads wide and the sleeve reads short, which is the signature of a dropped-shoulder, loose-fit block rather than a mistake — the same geometry you see on the pocket variants. Treat shoulder figures on this listing as decorative and rely on pit-to-pit and length.
Two working days on pavement
Both tees went through a normal desk week: bicycle, pavement, office, tram, no special care. Notes from the bench log:
- Breathability. The single jersey handled a warm, humid Rotterdam afternoon better than the gram weight suggests. No clammy build-up under a shoulder bag strap.
- Print feel. The face graphic sits slightly proud of the cotton but does not stiffen the chest panel. The listing names printing and dyeing as the technique and stops there — it says nothing about durability expectations, so we can only report how it wore, not how it will age.
- Neckline. The crew rib held its shape across both days and survived being pulled over a head twice a day without going wavy.
- Hem and seams. Straight stitching, no loose threads found on either piece, no twisting at the side seams after the first day.
Buyers in an ERD haul thread put it plainly: "Quality very good. Size accurate, colours accurate too, the tags are fine and I didn't find any flaws." That is a translated comment from a haul covering other pieces, not evidence about this SKU.
Where the listing argues with itself
Two spec-field conflicts survive our testing and neither can be settled at the desk:
- Sleeves. The listing gives "short sleeve" under sleeve length and "sleeveless" under sleeve type. What arrived was a short-sleeve tee. Because the option list mixes garment types, a buyer could genuinely receive a different sleeve construction depending on the colour code chosen.
- Colour run. Forty-one colour labels appear in the source data, several of them duplicates or near-duplicates — repeated "washed black", "imperial white" style entries and at least one duplicated code. The pocket variants are folded into the same list, so the label alone does not tell you whether you are buying a plain tee or a pocketed one.
Sizing, and why we will not call it solved
Our size M matched the brand chart closely, so for us the loose fit behaved exactly as advertised. But the ERD rep buyer record is genuinely mixed: one buyer in the same haul thread reported a piece that "seemed bigger" than expected while calling the tag and design fine. That is the reason we ask for per-colour flat measurements rather than picking a size from a table and hoping.
What to request before you pay
The desk's checklist for this SKU, given how heavily ERD is counterfeited and how little of the listing is specific:
- QC photographs of your exact colour code from three angles, including the sleeve, so the short-sleeve versus sleeveless conflict is closed in writing.
- A ruler shot against the pit-to-pit and body length, for your size, in that colour.
- Close-ups of the wash tag lettering and the neck tag, since published authentication guides flag uneven or overly thick lettering as the common failure point on replicas.
- Confirmation of whether your chosen label is the plain tee or the pocket version.
None of that is exotic for an agent order, and it is the difference between a reliable $8.51 buy and a parcel you argue about afterwards.
How heavy is the tee in a parcel?
The listing states 0.00 kg, which is unusable for freight estimates. Our 0.1 kg bench scale read 0.2 kg for two tees, and a single size M weighed roughly 232 g — consistent with the listed 230–270 gsm band.
Is the face print stiff against the skin?
No. On both test pieces the graphic sat slightly proud of the cotton without stiffening the chest panel, and two working days of wear produced no chafing under a bag strap. The listing does not specify print technique or expected durability.
Do the pocket variants fit like the plain tee?
Our plain and pocketed size M samples shared the same dropped-shoulder block, pit-to-pit and body length, so the fit was identical. Because plain and pocketed pieces are mixed into one 41-label colour list, confirm which construction your chosen code is.
