Kakobuynike is a small editorial desk in Rotterdam, Netherlands, founded in 2021 by Marcus Feldt. We cover shopping agents, parcel forwarding and shipping lines, plus the sneakers, outerwear, bags and small electronics readers order through them.
How we started
Marcus spent seven years in freight forwarding before writing about parcel imports. By 2021 he was tired of agent comparisons built from screenshots and forum posts, so he bought a postal scale, ordered the same jacket through three agents, and logged every fee and timestamp himself. That first test, and the spreadsheets behind it, became Kakobuynike.
The desk today
Three editors run the site. Marcus Feldt is Editor-in-Chief and owns the fee tables and customs coverage. Priya Naidoo is Reviews Editor and handles QC photos, fit checks and materials grading. Tomas Lindqvist is Research Editor and keeps the transit-time database and the monthly price audits.
What we do
We order and test featured products at our own cost, then publish the timings, weights and fit notes we recorded.
We rebuild fee and shipping tables from live invoices rather than marketing pages.
We date every timed result and re-run it on our retest cycle.
We correct errors on the page, with a dated note explaining what changed.

Our coverage focus
Our shopping-agent coverage examines footwear QC within mixed parcels of clothing, bags and small electronics. We connect requested warehouse views with packing, parcel weight and arrival condition, while keeping footwear dimensions separate from wear and fit observations.
Marcus Feldt is Editor-in-Chief at Kakobuynike, owning the fee tables and customs coverage, running warehouse timing tests and signing off every score. The work covers agent fees, consolidation weight, EU import VAT and customs handling for personal parcels. Each parcel is timed from order placement to agent warehouse intake, and consolidations are weighed on a calibrated 0.1 kg bench scale; Marcus personally reweighs a consolidation when its declared figure looks wrong. Fee tables are rebuilt from live invoices each month before any comparison is drafted.
Priya Naidoo writes sneaker and outerwear fit-check notes at Kakobuynike and reads every QC photo set before an order ships. The measurement chart uses centimetres so actual dimensions can be compared with the listing's sizing information. Footwear checks request three QC angles and a ruler shot, then compare heel-to-toe measurements and insole width against the listing and the desk's own chart. Each pair is worn for two full working days on Rotterdam pavement before comfort and construction are scored, bringing pre-shipment image checks and physical wear into the same review.
Tomas Lindqvist covers shipping lines and fee calculations at Kakobuynike, auditing the price tables each month. Advertised delivery windows are compared with what the desk actually records, and departures from those windows are written up. Every parcel sent by the desk has dispatch, first scan, customs entry and delivery timestamps logged, with median and worst-case days reported rather than averages alone. Fee tables are recalculated from paid invoices rather than marketing pages, so timing and cost research each draw on the relevant order material.
