Corteiz Graphic Print Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: One Loose Polyester Tee, Dozens of Colourways

We ordered the Corteiz graphic print multicolor T-shirt collection through a shopping agent and measured it on the Rotterdam bench. A loose, slightly cropped polyester crew-neck with 3D-effect lettering across dozens of colourways — comfortable in warm weather, but not a heavy cotton tee.

The Corteiz graphic print multicolor T-shirt collection is not one T-shirt. It is a single loose crew-neck shape offered in an unusually long list of colour codes — black, white, yellow-print, red-print, red-block, green, yellow, pink, blue, rainbow-print, brown, navy, orange, coffee, army green, sky blue and more — with lettering and 3D-effect motifs swapped in and out between them. Our testing team ordered a size L black variant through a shopping agent and had it consolidated with other parcels before it reached the bench in Rotterdam.

What arrived and what we measured

The parcel cleared consolidation with a declared weight of 0.00 kg on the agent listing, which is a common placeholder rather than a real figure — one of the reasons we weigh everything ourselves before opening it. On the 0.1 kg bench scale, the size L tee came in at 232 g, sitting inside the 180–250 g band the listing claims for the fabric.

Laid flat and measured with the calibrated tape against the desk's own chart:

MeasureOur reading (size L)
Chest, flat, pit to pit57 cm
Body length, shoulder to hem70 cm
Sleeve, shoulder seam to hem22 cm
Shoulder width52 cm
Item weight232 g

The listing states a 2–4 cm tolerance, which is honest for this price tier and matters more here than on a fitted garment: on a loose body, a 4 cm drift in chest width is the difference between relaxed and genuinely oversized. If the number you need is exact, ask the seller for a ruler shot of the specific colour code you want, because the variants are cut from the same pattern but not necessarily from the same batch.

Fit, fabric and two working days on Rotterdam pavement

Each featured garment gets worn for two full working days before we score it. Ours went out on a warm, damp Rotterdam week — the kind of weather that exposes a polyester tee quickly.

Two things stood out. First, the shape is genuinely what buyers describe of Corteiz tees generally: wide across the chest, a little short in the body, with sleeves that finish past the halfway point of the upper arm. Sitting between a clinging gym top and a draping vintage tee is a fair description. Second, the fabric is polyester, and it behaves like it — light, breathable in the sense that it does not hold heat the way a midweight cotton does, but with a smoother, slightly slicker hand and no cotton drape. On the second day the tee still looked reasonably crisp; there was no measurable shrinkage after a cold wash and line dry.

Our verdict on the handfeel: comfortable for a summer or spring-autumn layer, but if you are shopping for heavyweight cotton, this is a different product than the one you have in mind.

The print

The listing describes a 3D-print process with a 3D-effect theme on letter patterns. In hand, the lettering sits on the surface with a raised edge rather than sinking into the weave, and the colour blocks are opaque with clean edges. Panel alignment on our sample was even, with the graphic sitting square to the collar seam. We did not test print durability beyond two wears and one wash, and we would not claim more than that.

Sizing evidence, and its limit

Buyer reports on Corteiz tees describe them as running true to size, with a size up the sensible move for a baggier look. That is the most useful guidance available — but it describes the brand's T-shirts generally, not this listing's pattern specifically. The listing itself publishes a size chart and a 2–4 cm tolerance, so compare your chest measurement against the chart rather than against a general impression of the brand.

Price, landed cost and the colourway trap

The agent listing shows $4.93 USD against an original $5.91, in stock. That is the item price only. Add domestic China shipping, your agent's service fee, QC photography, consolidation and the international line, and the landed cost per tee rises well above the sticker — which is worth remembering when a 50-option colour grid invites you to order four at once. Order one, check the measurement and the print on arrival, then reorder the colour codes you actually liked.

The variant list is long enough that mistakes happen at checkout. Codes group by graphic family as well as colour, so "black" appears across several different numbers and the graphic changes between them. Match the code to its image on the listing before you pay, not after.

Quality: what buyers say, and what we found

Opinion on Corteiz divides. Some buyers criticise the brand's T-shirts specifically as feeling cheap for the price, while long-term customers rate the operation highly — roughly 4.6 / 5 across hundreds of reviews on Trustpilot, which our desk scores as about 4.5 / 5 on a five-point scale. Our own sample held up well over the test window at this price point, with the caveat that polyester print tees in this bracket are not built for a decade of wear.

There is no independent buyer evidence for this exact listing, only brand-level reporting. Treat the positives and the complaints as context, not as a verdict on the specific colour code you are buying.

How to order it without wasting a parcel

  1. Pick a colour code first, then read the size chart on that variant's page — the graphic changes between codes.
  2. Request QC photographs from three angles plus a ruler shot over the chest and body length before the tee ships from the warehouse.
  3. Compare those photos to the listing images and to our measurements above; ask for a different code if the print sits crooked.
  4. Consolidate only after QC clears — a returned item inside a shipped parcel is a write-off.

Under our retest policy this review is revisited on a 12-month cycle, or sooner if the listing changes materials, sizing or price by more than 15 percent.

Does this Corteiz tee run true to size?

Buyers report Corteiz tees fit true to size, with a size up the better move for a baggier look. Those reports cover the brand's tees generally, so check your chest measurement against the chart on your chosen colour code before ordering.

What is the fabric and how heavy is it?

The listing names polyester as the main fabric at a 180–250 g weight with breathable as the material function. Our size L sample weighed 232 g on our calibrated bench scale, inside that band.

Is the print durable?

We tested the raised 3D-effect lettering over two working days and one cold wash, and it came through intact. Longer-term durability on polyester print tees at this price is not something we can confirm from a single sample.

Priya Naidoo writes sneaker and outerwear fit-check notes at Kakobuynike and reads every QC photo set before an order ships. The measurement chart uses centimetres so actual dimensions can be compared with the listing's sizing information. Footwear checks request three QC angles and a ruler shot, then compare heel-to-toe measurements and insole width against the listing and the desk's own chart. Each pair is worn for two full working days on Rotterdam pavement before comfort and construction are scored, bringing pre-shipment image checks and physical wear into the same review.
